One day before a show (this was a few years ago now), we realized our usual computer print out cloud was no more. It must have gotten ripped coming back from a previous show. So about 20 minutes before we were set to leave for our show that night, Jac insists that we need something for the drum head so people know who we are. Scurrying around the practice space, Jac finds an X-acto knife and a large piece of oak-tag that must have been used for an old spray paint project by whoever used to own the practice space. Side note: The practice space is truly magical and always seems to produce the tools we need for our various random ideas. Best little shit hole in Boston! On the first try, Jac cuts out the very cloud formation we still use to this day! It's getting a bit worn now, so maybe it's time to invest in a vinyl one soon, but I kind of like the rough, home-made quality it gives us. Stay happy. |
